Standing up

Today I was part of an international campaign to stand up against poverty and hunger. Basically what the campaign is about is a reminder to world leaders of their promise to eradicate poverty by 2015. STAND UP is part of the Global Call to Action against Poverty month of mobilization around The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (IDEP). This campaign can really change the world (as cheesy as it sounds) because it is such a blatant reminder to the world powers that something needs to be done about the millions of people dying daily due to extreme poverty.
